The Playhouse Therapy Centre is Malaysia’s leading one-stop rehabilitation centre offering a comprehensive scope of therapy services for children aged 3 to 12 years old.
Playhouse is the brainchild of Ms Adila Abdullah, a mother of two who majored in Occupational Therapy at UITM. Ms Adila is a former therapist at Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) before she founded The Playhouse.
Playhouse was established with a serious purpose. We wanted to make quality rehabilitation programs accessible and affordable to parents with young children with physical and developmental challenges – Ms Adila Abdullah
Conveniently located in Dataran Mentari, Petaling Jaya, Playhouse supports and assists children who are either born with special needs or develop such needs early in life to reach their full potential in all areas of development.
Performed by a team of certified health professionals, each therapy service at Playhouse involves thorough assessment, recommendations for research-based interventions, as well as follow-up review assessments and prevention strategies.
The goals of rehabilitation are to help them achieve their full potential in all areas of development. We want to help them participate to the best of their ability in their school, home as well as community – Ms Adila Abdullah
To ensure rehabilitation services provided are of excellent quality, classes at Playhouse are adequately staffed with trained therapists and equipped with adequate resources. Also, Adila went to great lengths to ensure that all her qualified therapists are highly experienced in what they do.
