Planetarium Negara

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Planetarium Negara is the national planetarium of Malaysia. The facility was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir bin Mohamad, on 7 February 1994. Set on a forested hill between the Bird Park and the National Museum, Planetarium Negara has been meticulously designed to resemble a mosque. Hence the blue dome.
