Sunquick Malaysia Collaborates With Orphancare Foundation This Ramadan Season

Kuala Lumpur, April 20 – OrphanCare Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SUNQUICK Malaysia on April 20, 2020 as part of SUNQUICK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outreach for the upcoming Ramadhan season this year.

SUNQUICK Malaysia is committed to donating partial proceeds of its nationwide sales of large bottle range during the month of Ramadhan from 23 April 2020 until 24 May 2020 to support Orphancare’s mission to save at-risk children from abandonment and unfortunate families. Both parties held a separate MoU signing ceremony to respect the Movement Control Order imposed by the Government.

“Here at OrphanCare, we believe that every child needs a family. With the current climate such as the movement control order and global healthcare crisis, our role is becoming more significant and crucial to save abandoned children and ensure the unfortunate and institutionalised children are protected,” noted Yuzila Yusof, Chief Operating Officer of Orphancare.

“Especially during a global crisis, support from corporations like SUNQUICK Malaysia makes a huge difference to us in protecting the well-being of kids around Malaysia which may be in a vulnerable position.”

Mr. Soren Ravn, Executive Vice President – CO-RO A/S APAC Region noted, “SUNQUICK Malaysia shares the same vision as Orphancare Foundation to protect at-risk children. We believe every child deserves to be brought up in a safe, loving, caring and joyful environment. We take pride in our commitment to contribute to the community in this way.”
